§ Mr. ShoreMy Department is still receiving information about the losses sustained and expenditure incurred in the areas of all the local authorities affected by bad weather this winter. This information will be used in allocating our own special financial aid to the councils, and, together with information being obtained by the Department of my right hon. Friend the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, in disbursing the supplementary sums offered by the EEC in accordance with the formula I announced on 22nd March. There have been no294W formal consultations with the local authorities in any part of the country.
