§ Mr. Nicholas Wintertonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many pharmacies in Cheshire have closed (a) in the last 12 months; and (b) during the last four years.
§ Mr. Moyle:In the 12 months ended 31st August 1977 four pharmacies closed 286W and none opened. In 1976 three pharmacies closed and three opened; in 1975 eight closed and five opened. Due to boundary changes at the time of NHS reorganisation comparable figures for earlier years are not available.
