§ Mr. Kilroy-Silkasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if any form of transcendental meditation is in operation in any penal establishment; if there are any plans for the introduction of such a programme or pilot schemes; and if any such programme or scheme is currently being studied by his Department.
§ Mr. John:Training in the technique of transcendental meditation is not provided in any Prison Department establishment and there are no plans to introduce it.
