Mr. William Hamilton

asked the Lord President of the Council (1) what was the total cost of foreign travel expenditure incurred by Committees of the House in each of the last 10 years; and what is the ceiling imposed on such expenditure;

(2) what was the total public expenditure allowed to Select Committees of the House for foreign travel in each of the last 10 years; and what were the total costs incurred in each year.

asked the Lord President of the Council if he will publish in the Official Report details of the Select Committees of the House which have travelled abroad in each year since 1964, indicating the cost of each trip, the countries visited and the Members who went.
