HC Deb 27 July 1977 vol 936 cc277-8W
Mrs. Wise

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will raise the maximum amount of family income supplement which can be paid, so that the poorest families may benefit from his latest up-rating.

Mr. Deakins

Friend, the Member for Bristol, North-West (Mr. Thomas) on 15th July—[Vol. 935, c. 263-4]—we propose to increase the maximum payments of family income supplement.
