§ Miss Margaret JacksonAccording to the latest information available, pupils in receipt of free school meals in October 1976 represented 9.9 per cent. of those in attendance. It is estimated that this figure would rise to about 11.1 per cent. if the meals charge were increased by 5p and about 11.4 per cent. if it were increased by 10p.
