§ Mrs. Shirley WilliamsWork on scoliosis forms part of a programme of 73W research on neuromuscular disease, supported mainly by the Medical Research Council and in part by the Muscular Dystrophy Group of Great Britain, at the Regional Neurological Centre, General Hospital, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. There is also voluntary support for relevant work at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, Hammersmith, the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, London.
