§ Mr. Sproatasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what estimate he has made following the latest 14 per cent. increase in social security benefits, of the number of fathers in work whose families would be better off if the father were unemployed; and what estimate he has made of those working who are better off by, respectively, 10 per cent., 20 per cent. and 50 per cent., by working than by not working.
