asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list, by type of operation, the numbers of people currently on the waiting lists for non-emergency operations at hospitals within the Thanet area, the number of non-emergency operations which are carried out each week and the average time each patient spends on the waiting list before their non-emergency operation.
