HC Deb 22 November 1976 vol 919 cc937-8W
Mr. Biggs-Davison

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will take steps to bring the law of Northern Ireland governing responsibility of parents for the actions of their children into line with the law applying in Great Britain.

Mr. Dunn

The law of Northern Ireland on this subject is already in line with the law applying in England and Wales. An inter-departmental group is currently reviewing legislation concerning children and young persons and on receipt of their report I will be considering what changes in the law are necessary.
