HC Deb 21 May 1976 vol 911 c761W
Mr. Gow

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many regional offices of the Price Commission there are; how many of these are leasehold; and how many are freehold; what is the current rent of each of the leasehold offices; and what prices were paid for the offices which are freehold.

Mr. Armstrong

The Price Commission has 15 regional offices: 14 occupy leased premises, for which the total annual rent is £86,319. For commercial reasons rents of individual properties are confidential. The fifteenth office occupies part of an existing Crown building put up shortly after the Second World War. Information about its cost is not readily available.
