Mr. Woodall

asked the Secretary of State for Industry what is the total amount of the second allocation grant to the United Kingdom from the EEC; to which regions the grants are going; and what are the approximate amounts to each town within the regions.

In its second round of allocations from the Regional Development Fund the EEC Commission approved contributions totalling £27 million towards the cost of 298 projects in the United Kingdom. The number of projects in each region and the fund allocation was:
