HC Deb 04 February 1976 vol 904 c654W
Mr. Loyden

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment in view of the fact that the Liverpool Housing Committee has 28,000 outstanding repairs and has been further burdened by storm damage to council houses, if he will consider special financial assistance being made available to Liverpool Housing Committee.

Mr. Armstrong

No. I have no reason to suppose that Liverpool cannot deal with the repair of its houses within its present entitlement to subsidy.
