Mr. Michael Marshall

asked the Secretary of State for Employment what is the total annual cost of administering the Employment Protection Act 1975, showing separately the cost of maintaining regional offices, industrial tribunal courts and the Employment Appeals Tribunal Court in London, together with the cost of all civil servants directly or indirectly involved on the operation of the Act.

Regional and local offices £790,000
Other offices £180,000
Industrial tribunals £520,000
Employment Appeals Tribunal Court £170,000
Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service £840,000
