§ Mr. Adleyasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many appeals by small hotels and boarding houses against requirements of fire authorities have been made in pursuance of requirements made following the passage of the Fire Precautions Act in each fire authority area.
§ Dr. SummerskillThree such appeals have been made in respect of hotels and boarding houses providing sleeping 619W accommodation for not more than 25 persons, staff or guests: one in each of the fire authority areas of Leicestershire, Surrey and South Yorkshire.
