§ Mr. William RossFour postbus services are at present operated by the Post Office Corporation in the Western Isles:
- Lochmaddy —Benbecula Airport.
- Lochmaddy—Sollas and Newton Ferry.
- Lochmaddy—Tigharry.
- Castlebay—Eoligarry and Northbay Airport.
I understand that some additional services may be feasible. This is, however, a matter for the Post Office to decide in consultation with the Islands Council which has a responsibility for planning and co-ordinating public transport in its area.
