§ Mr. Welshasked the Secretary of State for Scotland when he expects the revised version of the Schools (Scotland) Code 1956 to be made available.
§ Mr. William RossI intend to replace the Schools (Scotland) Code 1956 by two new sets of regulations. The first, replacing those provisions concerned with the general conduct of schools, I hope to make in time to come into force in early August; the second, to replace provisions concerned with the staffing of schools, will follow later this year.
