§ Mr. ArmstrongMy Department wrote to all chief education officers on 9th January 1975 drawing their attention to the increase in arson and reminding them of basic precautions against fire damage. I am sending the hon. Member a copy of this letter.
A small informal working group has been set up with the Home Office and the local authority associations to consider what further advice might be offered on the protection of buildings against arson and vandalism.
