§ Mr. Fauldsasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will 157W review the decision to provide rooms at Somerset House for the display of historic British theatre material in view of the unsuitability of the rooms for such a purpose and the insufficiency of the space available for the quantity of material in theatre collections.
§ Mr. Hugh JenkinsNo. The allocation of the Fine Rooms at Somerset House as a theatre museum was widely welcomed by the theatre interests concerned. The Government are satisfied that the accommodation will enable a notable and representative collection to be displayed drawn from the various theatre collections.
