§ Mr. Fordasked the Secretary of State for Trade (1) what estimate he has made 4W of the cost of developing a regional airport in Yorkshire;
(2) what Government finance is available for the development of a Yorkshire regional airport;
(3) what sites have been proposed to him for the establishment of a Yorkshire regional airport; and if he will give details of his decisions thereupon.
§ Mr. Clinton DavisSites at Thorne Waste and Balne Moor for a regional airport in Yorkshire have been suggested by the Yorkshire Airport Development Association, but we are awaiting the recommendations of the Civil Aviation Authority on the Central England Airports Study. Questions of costs and finance do not, therefore, arise at this stage.
