§ Mr. William RossThe conditions which govern the granting of discretionary improvement grants are set out in Sections 27 to 38 of the Housing (Financial Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1968 as amended by the Housing (Scotland) Act 1969, the Housing Act 1971, the Housing (Financial Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1972 and the Housing (Amendment) Act 1973.
§ Mr. Grimondasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he can now announce his decision on whether to extend the time limit for the higher rate of improvement grant.
§ Mr. David Steelasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if, in his consideration of extending expiry dates for home improvement grants, he will take into account cases where unavoidable delays are caused by shortage of materials.
