HC Deb 27 March 1974 vol 871 c119W
32. Mr. Sproat

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on the latest progress of the Conference on Security and Co-operation in Europe.

Mr. Hattersley

In the period since Christmas some progress has been made, but the main issues have still to be resolved. As my right hon. Friend made clear in the House on 19th March—[Vol. 870, c. 870.]—it is the policy of Her Majesty's Government to help bring the conference to a successful conclusion.
