§ 32. Mr. Sproatasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on the latest progress of the Conference on Security and Co-operation in Europe.
§ Mr. HattersleyIn the period since Christmas some progress has been made, but the main issues have still to be resolved. As my right hon. Friend made clear in the House on 19th March—[Vol. 870, c. 870.]—it is the policy of Her Majesty's Government to help bring the conference to a successful conclusion.
