§ Mr. Harry Ewingasked the Secretary of State for Energy whether he proposes to make any change in the current oil allocations.
§ Mr. VarleyIn view of the improved prospects for oil supplies and the need to remove hindrances to industrial production, I am suspending restrictions on the supply of all oil fuels, other than motor spirit and aviation gasolene, with effect from today. I would, however, emphasise that the need for economy in the use of all oil fuels remains of the utmost importance.
