§ 58. Sir David Rentonasked the Secretary of State for the Environment when it is proposed to announce a decision as to the linking of the A1 and the M1 as part of an east-west motorway between the Midlands and the East Coast.
§ Mr. CarmichaelThe report of the M1-A1 feasibility study is now being studied. If it is considered that a link between M1 and A1 is necessary, a public participation exercise on the alternatives will be held later this year.
