asked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will reconsider the planning consent for LNG storage tanks to be sited near homes at Hirwaun in view of the disaster at Flixborough.

No. Planning permission for the Hirwaun installation was granted after full consideration of the relevant issues following a public local inquiry at which the planning inspector was assisted by an explosives inspector of the Home Office specially appointed to assess the safety implications.
