asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will intro duce legislation to prevent evictions from service tenancies.

Those service tenants whose tenancies comply with the Rent Act criteria already have protection. I hope that, following my meeting with union representatives on 20th June, 1 should be able to say something about our plans to abolish the agricultural tied cottage, since occupants of such cottages normally lack protection.
