asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will make a statement on the route of the M16 and public inquiries to be held thereon.

The proposed route of the Ml6 between Waltham Cross, Epping and Brentwood was published in November 1973 and will be open to objection until 19th July. If a public inquiry is necessary it will probably be held in the autumn.
