asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if she will make a statement on the dispute involving health service engineers.

The Whitley Council concerned with health service engineering and building supervisory staff reached an agreement on Friday 26th July, which I believe to be fair and reasonable, as a result of which the unions concerned have terminated the industrial action which had been taking place.
