52. Mr. Dempsey

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what provision he is making for disabled persons in wheelchairs to get in and out of new Government buildings proposed for Coat-bridge; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Freeson

Facilities for the disabled in line with those prescribed in sections 4–7 of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970 will be provided in the proposed Government building in Coat-bridge, which is now being designed.
