§ Mr. Newensasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what is the number of listed buildings in Essex known to have been destroyed or demolished during the course of the last five years.
§ Mr. Charles R. MorrisDuring the years 1969–73 inclusive, consent was given for the demolition of 24 listed buildings in Essex, all of them grade II. In addition about 10 listed buildings were destroyed, most of them by fire.
