§ Q9. Mr. Newensasked the Prime Minister if he will make a statement on his recent discussion with Kalevi Sorsa, the Prime Minister of Finland.
§ The Prime MinisterI was glad to welcome Mr. Sorsa to the meeting of the Socialist International which was held at Chequers on 29th and 30th June. Our bilateral relations with Finland are excellent, and the main subject in our talks was the prospects for the next stage of the Conference on Security and Co-operation in Europe, on which I was interested to hear Mr. Sorsa's views.
