asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make a statement about the admission of Chilean refugees to Great Britain, including how many have been admitted; over how many he has exercised his discretion; and how many applications are pending.

As at 21st June, 362 applications for admission had been granted; 122 withdrawn or not taken up; 19 refused; and 192 were under consideration.
