§ Dr. SummerskillBetween 1st January and 26th June 1974 inclusive the number of demonstrations in the Metropolitan Police District requiring the presence of 20 or more police officers was 210. The figure for the corresponding period in 1973 was 262. I regret that the total hours of overtime involved cannot be readily calculated.
