1974, I confirmed six compulsory purchase orders made by Hamilton Town Council and 55 by Lanarkshire County Council, and one was made on my own behalf in respect of land in these local authority areas. 262 privately-owned houses were included in the orders by the town council, 637 in those by the county council, and eight in the order promoted under my own powers.
