HC Deb 03 December 1974 vol 882 c438W
Mr. Geraint Howells

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he is satisfied that there will be sufficient supplies of fresh home-produced lamb available in Great Britain during the next five years.

Mr. Bishop

Lamb supplies cannot be forecast for as long a period as five years. We are satisfied that for the foreseeable future there will be sufficient supplies of lamb available to satisfy consumers demand at reasonable prices.
