§ Mr. Juddasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will take steps to increase the flow of British aid and technical assistance to Tanzania; and whether he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT details of negotiations during the past year towards this end.
§ Mr. WoodWe have had promising discussions with the Tanzanian Government in recent months. I cannot yet make a full statement, but the amount of technical assistance available to Tanzania has meanwhile been increased.
