asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will make a statement on the Anglo-Icelandic fishing dispute.

Discussions are continuing with the Icelandic Government through the diplomatic channel with a view to reaching an interim agreement based on the arrangements worked out between the two Prime Ministers in their talks in London on 15th and 16th October.
