HC Deb 04 July 1973 vol 859 c135W
Mr. Dykes

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what conclusion he has reached on the application for entry into the United Kingdom of Mr. Carl Clifford of Calcutta, following the recent submissions made by the hon. Member for Harrow, East.

Mr. Lane

I regret that, after further careful consideration, we have been obliged to refuse this application. I have written to my hon. Friend explaining the reasons and reminding him of Mr. Clifford's right of appeal.
