asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what is the number of planning appeals from the West Riding of Yorkshire which are unresolved at the present time and the number which was submitted more than six, more than nine and more than 12 months ago.

Five hundred and forty, of which 137 were submitted more than six months ago, 88 more than nine months ago and 61 more than 12 months ago.
