§ Mr. Kilfedderasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what draft Orders in Council will be laid before Parliament in the new Session under the Northern Ireland (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1972.
§ Mr. WhitelawIt is hoped to lay the following draft Orders in Council before Parliament during the new Session:
- 1. Fire Services (Northern Ireland) Order 1972.
- 2. Building Regulations (Northern Ireland) Order 1972.
- 3. Museums (Northern Ireland) Order 1972.
- 4. Appropriation No. 3 (Northern Ireland) Order 1972.
- 5. Water and Sewerage Services (Northern Ireland) Order 1972.
- 6. Drainage (Northern Ireland) Order 1972.
- 7. Local Government, etc. (Northern Ireland) Order 1972.
- 8. Recreation and Youth Service (Northern Ireland) Order 1972.
- 9. Appropriation No. 1 (Northern Ireland) Order 1973.
- 10. Enterprise Ulster (Northern Ireland) Order 1973.
- 11. Financial Provisions (Northern Ireland) Order 1973.
The first three Measures were introduced as Bills in the Northern Ireland 386W Parliament before Prorogation. The draft Orders numbered 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8, along with the draft Orders already before Parliament, from the remaining part of the programme for reorganisation of local govenment in Northern Ireland.
In addition to these draft Orders, it is likely that early in the new Session two Orders will be laid before Parliament after being made under the "urgent" procedure.
