HC Deb 05 July 1972 vol 840 c146W
Mr. O'Halloran

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement on the progress of the Committee on London Housing on which he is represented in preventing increases in house prices in the Greater London Area.

Mr. Amery

The most effective way in which the increase in house prices in Greater London can be checked is to make more land available for housing. The Action Group on London Housing will shortly be submitting to me a report on its survey of land availability. A statement on this will be made as soon as possible.
