§ Mr. Muddasked the Secretary of State for Employment what was the total of working days lost for the years 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969 and 1970, in respect of workers stood-off as a result of official and unofficial industrial stoppages, respectively.
§ Mr. BryanThe information is not available because estimates of the number of working days lost through industrial stoppages are not compiled separately for:
- (a) workers stood-off (that is indirectly involved at the establishment where the dispute occurred), and
- (b) workers directly involved (that is parties to the dispute).
It follows that separate information for those stood-off is not available for disputes known to have been official.
