§ Sir R. Russellasked the Minister of Transport if he will make a statement on the working of the system under which traffic entering roundabouts gives way to traffic already on them.
Mr. Bob Brown:This rule has now been in operation for over three years. It seems to be working well. It has been generally welcomed by drivers, and evidence to date shows that it has increased traffic capacity of roundabouts with no loss in safety.
