HC Deb 29 May 1970 vol 801 c648W
Mr. Carol Johnson

asked the Minister of Transport whether he has now been supplied by the Greater London Council with all the information in that authority's possession relating to the proposed Ring-way 2 Motorway, including that relating to intersections and widening of secondary roads; and what steps he proposes to take to see that all such information is made available for public use and discussion, having regard to the number of people likely to be affected.

Mr. Bob Brown:

No. The arrangements for the forthcoming public inquiry into the Greater London Development Plan, including its road proposals, are a matter for my right hon. Friend the Minister of Housing and Local Government.

We would not expect to receive proposals from the Greater London Council until my right hon. Friend had reached a decision on the proposals in the Greater London Development Plan.
