HC Deb 28 May 1970 vol 801 cc529-30W
Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department why he will not take steps to ensure that police officers who will be privately engaged whilst assisting in keeping order at cricket matches, between English and South African teams, should be entitled to refuse to take part in such demonstrations and contract out from such private engagements.

Mr. Elystan Morgan:

This question no longer arises.
