§ Mr. Juddasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will make a statement on the arrangements for regular consultation between his Department and leaders of immigrant communities in Great Britain.
§ Mr. Merlyn Rees:It is one of the functions of the Community Relations Commission to keep in close touch, through the local community relations councils, with the immigrant organisations and communities, but I am always ready to consider representations made to me by immigrant organisations, and meetings with their representatives are a regular feature of Ministerial and official visits to particular areas.
