asked the Minister of Technology if he will introduce amending legislation covering the coal industry to allow the National Coal Board to carry out central heating installation work.

Mr. Alan Williams:

The National Coal Board can carry out solid fuel central heating installation work under existing legislation and have in fact been doing so for some time.
