asked the Minister of Technology whether he will make a statement about the recent Jaguar aircraft crash in France.

Mr. Carmichael:

Jaguar EO1, a prototype of the French two seat trainer version of the aircraft, which had made its

Conservation Areas are designated by local planning authorities. The areas designated and under consideration for designation are as follows:

first flight on 8th September, 1968, crashed at the French Experimental Flying Centre, Istres, on 26th March, 1970. The aircraft was destroyed but the French Air Force test pilot ejected and was slightly injured. A joint Anglo-French Board of Inquiry was set up immediately to determine the causes of the accident, but has not yet completed its investigations.
