asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will now implement the White Fish Authority's recommendations for a minimum price scheme.

The White Fish Authority has submitted to my right hon. Friends and me a minimum price scheme for Scotland and Northern Ireland. As my right hon. Friend told my hon. Friend the Member for Aberdeen, South (Mr. Dewar) on 26th February, we have decided to confirm this scheme subject to certain modifications.—[Vol. 796, c.411.]
