§ 67. Sir A. V. Harveyasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what progress has been made in the negotiations with Macclesfield Borough Council regarding a settlement for their claim covering the alterations to the Jespersen flats.
§ Mr. FreesonThere are no current negotiations with Macclesfield Borough Council. I have studied very closely the case made out by the council. I do not, however, consider that there are grounds for special grant arrangements for the Jespersen flats of under 7 storeys.
